VMS participates in Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e), a Navy contract vehicle worth $5.3 billion per year over ten years for providing a variety of support services for weapon systems acquisition under contract #N00178-05-D-4653. SeaPort-e has a four-year base period, a five-year option, and an additional one-year option.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (IDIQ) includes R&D support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test and evaluation and engineering support for the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs and the Marine Corps.
