ABOUT VMS
VMS is a prime contractor providing expert services in the areas of avionics engineering and program management. We bring our customers detailed strategies to map and evaluate avionics engineering alternatives, to develop resource allocation models, to integrate and support new avionics systems, and develop airborne software/hardware electronic systems.
VMS is proud to support the Naval Air Systems Command in its continuing quest to deliver airborne weapons systems that are technologically superior and readily available to the fleet. We provide lead investigators for projects involving both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
VMS provides expert advice in the area of Airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) systems engineering support and development. We provide EW systems engineering, configuration management, ongoing technical support, and problem tracking and analysis. We apply our extensive experience in EW systems, integrated suites, and core architecture to guide EW projects through the full development life cycle, balancing the demands of scope, time, risk, and quality.
VMS provides a wide range of administrative, research, and technical programs and support staff to its government clients. Our partnerships with major engineering universities help to ensure that our methodologies and practices are state of the art. VMS also provides specialized training to allow clients to increase the effectiveness and value of their personnel.
VMS is a small and disadvantaged, SBA 8(a), veteran-owned, minority-owned company. The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) has designated it a minority business enterprise (MBE) entitled to preferences when doing business with state agencies. Vyalex President/CEO Al Leandre was awarded a 2007 Top 100 MBE award. VMS also holds a SeaPort-e contract.
